Urban Ministry Center's "Voices of Love" Choir perform at the Sept 10, 2011 Artworks 945 Auction
Friday, August 12, 2011 at 09:56PM ArtWorks 945, a part of Charlotte's Urban Ministry Center, serves those who struggle with homelessness and urban poverty. Their studio and gallery space is both a refuge and and a place of creative productivity for its clients. Twice a year, they host an exhibit and auction in their gallery space, an event that serves as both a fundraiser and an awareness-raiser.
I am honored to have supported Urban Ministry Center and ArtWorks 945 by helping to create these marketing materials for thier fall show.
They will use use this graphic on thier posters, postcards, and email marketing. It features a collaborative work of art by Artworks 945 artists, a sample of the works available at thier event.
Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 08:42PM After a very successful 2010 charity art show ($24,000 raised and a rocking party!), Hannah Blanton and Nancy Maloney of the GBS/CIDP Foundation International Charlotte Chapter are planning their second annual Carolina Art Soirée. This year's exhibition will include over 30 regional artists, including those from Urban Ministry Center's ArtWorks945 program.
I will be again be helping with event marketing -- website, invitation, email marketing, public relations and social media promotion.

In partnership with clients Art Charlotte and Anne Neilson, the ArtWorks945 program is hosting a solo art show at Art Charlotte on June 3 for an anonymous artist who hopes to raise funds to establish permanent housing. Though she has struggled with homelessness for years, she has nutured her immense talent through the Artworks945 program at Urban Ministry Center, and has affected countless individuals throught Charlotte with her humble generosity of spirit and talent.
