It is a pleasure to work with an artist this talented, business-savvy, and tech-competent.
I've been working with Artist Wendy Bilas to produce some marketing materials, ads, and a new website (still in the works). It is always an honor to help present the work of incredibly talented artists, especially one as kind and gracious as Wendy.
The Holiday are approaching and the artists are gathering their works for art shows and studio sales.
Next week, client Lesley Powell will host clients in her new studio in Dilworth Artisan Station for an Open Studio Sale on Oct 25, and on November 7-8 Wendy Bilas, Christina Dowdy and Jenny Fuller will host an event with guest artists offering jewelry, ceramics and knitworks. I prepared printed invitations and email versions for both of these shows.
Athletes United for Youth, the non-profit organization of Jay Bilas, Steve Smith and Dell Curry, provides free after-school care and summer programs, computer learning centers, mentoring and substance abuse prevention programs for over 400 children in Charlotte's most at-risk, under-served communities.
Bilas called on us to design an upscale, yet cost-efficient invitation for their annual fund raising dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. The tea-length invitation was produced using affordable full-color digital offset printing to allow nice reproductions of their photos and to fit in their stock #10 envelopes. Included with the invitation was a 2-sided reply card and reply envelope.
