I am tickled with the beautiful sign erected this week at 708 East Boulevard. Clients K. Interiors, Deep Branch, and Heidi Kirschner have inhabited a new space in this old Dilworth house and we worked hard at the end of last year to design signage that would reflect their impeccable taste, clean aesthetic, and provide good visibility in their new high-traffic spot.
We created a metal sign with modular elements that would allow them flexibility as they took on new residents. Primary letters are raised, with secondary lines printed, a solution that provided the drama of three-dimensional signage while allowing the flexiblity of providing additional information at a scale that wasn't cut out for diecut lettering.
Printer/Manufacturer Pheonix Signs was terrific to work with and produced a beautiful sign that my cursory photos are not doing justice.
This card was printed at 3.5"square on linen cardstock for use at an open house event. The designers of K. Interiors wished to have a card available to visitors as an alternative to a brochure or business card, something that included an image of their work and a reflection of their style.
Kate Newman and Caitlyn Miller, the talented interior designers of K. Interiors, have done it again. They have again collected a beautiful collection of design finds for the most recent edition of their Delve Design Journal newsletter.
I was honored to provide marketing support to another great Open House event by the artists, designers and galleries of Dilworth Artisan Station. Their 2010 Holiday Open House was a fun night of enjoying food and beverages (provided by generous sponsors), browsing open studios, and an art raffle benefiting CMC's Rare and Complex Cancers Fund.
Organized by clients K. Interiors and Studio 21 Gallery, the event included a number of other incredible artists that call the Southend building their professional home -- Anne Neilson, Angela Nesbit, John Seibels Walker, Crossland Studio, Pamela Freeman, Miriam Durkin, Lita Gatlin, Hacker Studio Gallery, Paul Hastings, Sharon Hockfield, Heidi Kirschner, Kris Kuchavik, Leonor Demori Neisler, Bobby Underhill and Christine Brunnemer.
Artists and Galleries donated 40% of the evening's art sales and 100% of art raffle proceeds to the Rare and Complex Cancers Fund.
I am super excited about today's launch of a new blog and email newsletter for the talented interior designers at K. Interiors. Delve Design Journal is the name of both their new blog and a quarterly newsletter in which they'll share their great design finds.
Kate Newman and Caitlyn Miller have outstanding style and a nose for cool stuff. The blog and newsletter allow them to showcase recent work and unique new products. The beautiful photography was contributed by Ashley Sellner.
Blog posts feature content from the newsletter, plus additional images, and they will make other posts between newsletters.
The newsletter features the same header and similar styling.
