Signage: Dilworth Artisan Station

Dilworth Artisan Station is an old building in the historic SouthEnd neighborhood of Charlotte, and is home to working artists' studios, interior designers, and professional offices.  This summer, I worked with the buildings owners, twin brothers Bob and Dick Fuller of Crossland Studio, to design a marquee listing artist studio tenants. Fred Hutchinson of Fred Vinyl steered our material selections, fabricated and installed the sign. (Thanks, Fred!)

Earlier this year, I designed window signage for Crossland, an architectural antiques restorer, and my client Anne Neilson's new gallery in the building's ground floor.

Dilworth Artisan Station - Spring Open House

Invitation Graphic for email, facebook, and printed flyer

The artists of Dilworth Artisan Station will host a spring Open House on May 3, 2013.  This graphic was created for use on a facebook event page, email invitation, and for individual participants' online use.

The photo used is by the very talented Jeff Cravotta, who is a resident of DAS and a participant in the Open House.

Dilworth Artisan Station Holiday Open House

There is a great old building in Charlotte's historic South End district where an amazing cluster of artists and designers enjoy studios with high ceilings, wood floors, easy access to light rail, and an infectious creative community. I have been fortunate to spend a lot of time hanging out at Dilworth Artisan Station over the last 5ish years, with many clients in the building.

This year if the third (maybe 4th?) that I have helped the residents promote an annual Holiday Open House.  It is always a great party, a great opportunity to nose into the studios of some fabulous Charlotte artists, and a good art-buying opportunity.

See our email invitation here.  And come on out December 7th!
