Caroline Simas and I go way back — about 14 years, to when we were both designing stationery — and it has been a special pleasure to reconnect with her to create a new website for her art licensing business, Multiple Blessings. She has had some terrific websites in the past, but Caroline was feeling the need for a fresh start, and a simpler, mobile-friendly site that was easier to maintain.
It is a special pleasure to be a part of a strong campaign team for an especially strong candidate. Susan Harden is an smart educator, gifted in collaboration and communication, and an excellent prospect for our community's leadership.
I worked with her team to refine campaign branding and develop a campaign website.
It is a pleasure to work with an artist this talented, business-savvy, and tech-competent.
The online world evolves quickly and every few years a refresh is needed to take advantage of new features and update styling to modern sensibilities. I recently worked with Morris and Moffitt, a restoration and renovation contractor, to refresh the site we created for them in 2013.
We updated page layouts, added new content, redesigned header, and added a new slideshow to homepage. The company has enjoyed a lot of growth since they began (and launched initial website), and we were able to efficiently update their old site to reflect that growth.
I am so proud of the good work that friend and client Hannah Blanton has done at Sozo Gallery. We created a brand and small website when Hannah opened Sozo in 2013, and after much growth, it was time to refresh the website with a new, mobile-friendly design that made room for additional image galleries.
A lot of the work in putting together a new website is in the tedious organization of images and content details. Many thanks to new Gallery Manager Sara Frances Koontz for her diligent and precise management of the site's implementation.
Lauren Jones Worth is an artist from Greensboro, NC, who creates stunningly detailed mixed media works. I designed a site for Lauren several years ago using Squarespace and have redesigned it this spring with an updated template that allows her for flexibility for showcasing her new line of pillows and glass-topped tables. See Lauren's new site here.
I am pleased to be a sponsor and committee member for the upcoming Cornhole Tournament fundraiser for InReach, an organization that provides job opportunities and providing residential services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
It was a pleasure to work with Katie Buck, a DC-area interior designer, to launch a new website for her firm 1225 Designs. We utilized her existing branding for a custom-designed background pattern and applied her color palette to a clean and contemporary layout for a fresh presentation of her work.
