Event Branding: Harvest Center "Love Thy Neighbor"

On October 24, 2013, The Harvest Center will host its biggest-ever, annual "Love Thy Neighbor" fundraiser. Artist and philanthropist Anne Neilson is co-chairing the elegant dinner event which will feature keynote speaker Kathie Lee Gifford and will include 900 guests.

Stir Studios is proud to serve as sponsor and steering committee member for the important fundraiser, which will serve Charlotte's homeless community through transformative work of the The Harvest Center.  Today, volunteers assembled our programs, which were printed beautifully (and generously!) by United Printing.

Hats off to Anne and co-chair Cindy Grantham for their extraordinary vision and organization. They've already raised over $100,000 in sponsorships!  Can't wait to celebrate this wonderful evening next week!

Rack Cards: Pace Development and Shannon Joseph

Clients Pace Development Group and Shannon Joseph Interiors recently enjoyed the honor having a project chosen for the Dilworth Home Tour .  The featured home was Shannon's own residence, built last year by Pace.  The two companies served as co-sponsors in the popular home tour.

For each of them, we created a simple, two-sided rack card to display at the home during the tour.

Artist Marketing: Sharon Hockfield

Charlotte artist Sharon Hockfield offers a unique service to brides (or generous friends/family wishing to give the best gift ever!).  She paints abstract portraits of her clients, capturing the couple's style and wedding colors in oil paintings... fine art to be treasured for generations!

We put our heads together this spring to market these creative commissions and came up with this card.

Rack Card: Petit Philippe / Twenty Degrees Chocolates

I am pleased to work with artists and artisans of many mediums, including candy.  Cordon Bleu-trained Casey Hickey is a chocolatier and her husband is a wine guy -- together they are rocking a small but beautiful space in Myers Park's Tranquil Court shopping center.

We are working on menus and packaging, but here is the rack card produced for their participation in Charlotte's recent Democratic National Convention.

Rack Card: Petit Philippe / Twenty Degrees Chocolates

Just ordered these rack cards for client Petit Philippe and Twenty Degrees Chocolates. This husband-wife team runs a beautiful specialty wine and sweet shop in Myers Park and needed a card to share with visitors to their booth at next week's DNC CarolinaFest2012.

Avett Art Show Collateral

We enjoyed a very successful show with Scott Avett last month, entertaining hundreds of Avett fans and art lovers during the two days of our exhibition.

Here is the program created for the event (a 6x11, 2-sided card on heavy stock), and the poster that marked the entrance to the exhibition space. Both recognized the contributions of our many generous sponsors.

One of our guests wrote this lovely summary of her experience Friday night. And Daniel deWit captured the beauty of the community spirit of this event in his video of our setup of the show.

(Daniel filmed this footage, wrote and recorded the music, and created this film all in one afternoon! Impressive, huh?  You can see another video he made about Scott Avett's art here.)
