Economic Development Professional Leslie Dwyer is working to establish a new not-for-profit organization, Jobs4CLT, to create entrepreneurial opportunities in Charlotte's underserved neighborhoods. We've created branding to represent her innovative model as she gains community support.

Crisis Assistance Ministry Non-Event 2018

This is the 5th year I have worked with Crisis Assistance Ministry on their long-running "Non-Event" fundraising campaign. The concept: rather than invest in the expenses of hosting or attending a fancy gala, donors' contributions will go further toward the agency's mission of helping Charlotte families in financial crisis.

The campaign includes a wide array of graphics for ads, banner signage, website, and social media. This year's direct mail "invitation" featured a die-cut house shape and repetition of the string light motif from previous years' campaigns.

Branding: InReach Cornhole Tournament

I am pleased to be a sponsor and committee member for the upcoming Cornhole Tournament fundraiser for InReach, an organization that provides job opportunities and providing residential services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

I consulted with InReach to name the event, Crown Town Throwdown, and to design a logo, poster and website for the event.

We are looking forward to a fun day at Triple C Brewing on May 2, 2015, with live music by Charleston's Blue Dogs.

Crisis Assistance Ministry Match Campaign

I designed this campaign branding last year for Crisis Assistance Ministry and helped them implement another Match campaign this year.

This campaign allows individual donors to have contributions matched by five major donors, doubling their gift to help families in financial crisis.

Branding: Rohr Rockstars

I have been working with the tireless Trish Rohr to create new branding, website and marketing materials for her non-profit Rohr Rockstars.  The organization, which provides educational enrichment to children facing long-term illness, is in a period of great growth and change and it is a pleasure to help Trish navigate her new phase with fresh and consistent visual messaging. Stay tuned for more from this great organization as they roll out new pilot programming at Hemby Children's Hospital in Charlotte.

Website: Grier's Gallery

My inspiring friend and client Hannah Blanton launched a powerful new project in November 2014, a way to honor the life of her young friend Grier Christenbury and to grace hospitalized children with enriching art experiences. Grier's Gallery is now both a gallery space at Charlotte's Novant Hemby Children's Hospital and an monthly art program that brings a guest artist to Hemby (and Blume Pediatric Oncology Clinic) to work with patients to express themselves through an art project. 

In addition to a website for Grier's Gallery, I helped design a window display for Sozo Gallery where Hannah and collaborator Trish Rohr celebrate the launch of Grier's Gallery in November.

Tshirt Design: Cookies for Kids' Cancer

Charlotte's Cookies For Kids Cancer fundraising team has raised impressive amounts of money and awareness for the national charity, which funds pediatric cancer research. At their annual bake sale event on December 6, 2014, Charlotte-area events raised over $176,000! I worked with local leader Amy Christenbury to create a t-shirt design for sale at six area bake sale locations, which she said nearly outsold baked goods.
